My neighbors must hate me for my love for bacon.

I've found that the food is usually done before that timer goes off, unless you like your food blackened.

This is just insult on top of injury. I'VE ALREADY BURNED MY FOOD WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT FROM ME!!!!!

Very frustrating in my college dorm as well... cause they were tied into the fire alarm system... so every time someone left their toast in a little too long and didn't manage to figure out where it was (ten feet in the air, hidden from the view of anyone in the kitchen area of the room) within fifteen seconds, we had to evacuate the building until the fire department gave the all-clear to shut off the alarm.

I have a stick in my kitchen to hit the little 'reset' button for when my boys are cooking. I swear, they'd burn water...
